All Wales Forum of Parents and Carers of People with Learning Disabilities (AWF) have been working with family carers across the parent carer network and with network partners to identify the key issues and drivers to delivering better support in the future and to ensure families feel engaged in the democratic and constitutional future of Wales. These questions focused on the key issues facing families on both a national and a local level, along with piecing together what barriers currently exist to engagement on these levels that would help families engage more freely and meaningfully in the future.
