Regional Meetings – Consultation on the Independent Living Fund’s (ILF) future in Wales

The All Wales Forum in conjunction with partners from across Wales are encouraging groups to meet, consider and to discuss the proposed options of the Welsh Government’s Consultation on the Independent Living Fund – Future Arrangements to Support Recipients in Wales.

The meetings will be facilitated by lead partners and are an opportunity for you to discuss options and share your concerns and thoughts with each other before you reply to the consultation.

Free to attend events will be held:

Pontypridd – 7th November.

Llanelli – 10th November.

Carmarthen – 17th November.

Llanelli – 24th November.

Rhyl – 1st December.

Blaenau Gwent – 1st December.

Ceredigion – 3rd December.

Cardiff – 4th December.

Brecon – 16th December

Gwynedd – 8th December

Llandrindod Wells – 9th December

For more details of times and locations of each meeting please click >ilf meetings times and locations

More information about the consultation can be found on Welsh Governments website here

The All Wales Forum has been actively involved as part of a stakeholder group working with civil servants on the consultation and options. It is important that as many views and replies from the public of Wales are put to the Government.

Thanks to WCVA, Cartrefi Cymru, Mencap Cymru, Disability Wales, Dewis CIL and Carers Outreach, who have supported by offering free use of venues or who are facilitating meetings.
