WCBC Play Development Team are holding a free screening of Project Wild Thing.
PROJECT WILD THING is a feature-length documentary film. It is also the beginning of a movement to reconnect kids with nature. Only 1 in 10 children regularly play in wild places. Children’s roaming area has shrunk by 90% in a generation. Today, more children can identify a Dalek than a magpie.
The movement aims to reconnect all children in the UK with nature.
The screening will be of interest to parents and professionals who have an interest in supporting children to play, and or natural environments, we are hoping this may lead to the developments of future projects aimed at addressing these issues.
The screening will take place on Friday 21st March 2:00 in the main auditorium in the Catrin Finch centre, Glyndwr. To book a place contact the Play Development Team on 01978 298361
