Direct Independence – Exploring home to independent living options in Powys

All Wales Forum and partners in Powys have committed to exploring and co-designing alternative transition options for learning disability families moving from home to independent living in the region.

We would like to start a conversation with attendees about what the practical next steps are that we can all take to start exploring alternative transition options in Powys and utilise the services and alternative options available whilst exploring links possible future links with hospitality in the area.

We would like to learn, share, explore and identify the opportunities and priorities to move the conversation forward with learning disability family carers and the network in 2021.

The event will be hosted on Zoom by All Wales Forum from 10:30am – 12pm on the 16th of February
