Learning Disability Wales

Learning Disability Wales is a national charity representing the learning disability sector in Wales. Everything that they do focuses on creating a Wales that values and includes every child, young person and adult with a learning disability.

Disability Wales

Disability Wales is an independent, not for profit organisation. It is a membership organisation of disability groups and allies from across Wales. It champions the rights, equality and independence of all disabled people regardless of physical or sensory impairment, learning difficulty or mental health condition.

Mencap Cymru

Provides advice and information to anyone who is affected by learning disability. With a network of regional officers across Wales who provide face-to-face support to individuals and families, and develop links with other local organisations.

Mencap operate the free Wales Learning Disability Helpline, which offers impartial information and advice – 0808 808 1111.

All Wales People First

All Wales People First is the united voice of self-advocacy groups and all people with learning disabilities in Wales.

It shares knowledge and information to achieve equal rights and a positive image.

Alzheimer’s Society

Alzheimer’s Society is a membership, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in Wales, England and Northern Ireland.

Mind Cymru

Provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. They are an influential commentator and partner in the development of mental health and community care policy in Wales, working closely with the Welsh Government, National Assembly for Wales and other voluntary and statutory agencies.
