Carer Support Organisations

Community Alliance

The All Wales Forum is unique, in that we work in partnership with a number of local and regional parent carer groups based across Wales. There is no formal membership, instead we work as an alliance, ensuring the voice of parents and carers is heard and respected. Some of the local groups have significant numbers and others are smaller peer support groups that meet in their local pub. Each group plays a vital and valued role in advocating for the rights of parents and carers and supporting the Forum in our national lobbying and campaigning role.

In return, the Forum seeks to support local groups when needed, often engaging in consultations surrounding local services and funding. Through this partnership working we have achieved many positive changes for families, as well as influenced policies both locally and nationally.

If you are a member of a local group or organisation that is currently unknown to the Forum we would love to hear from you. The Alliance is growing year on year and we know that many more groups exist out there. If you would like to share your group details and play a part in the Alliance’s work then please contact the main office on 029 20811120 or email admin@allwalesforum.org.uk.

Alternatively, if you are a parent carer who would like to join a local group or organisation, please click on the link below to find your nearest support organisation to get involved locally.
